Papua New Guinea Ceremonial Bracelet

This multi layered shell bracelet could also have been worn as an upper armband.  It’s woven together with recycled fabric.  These were worn for ceremonial occasions and used for a bride price.  The shells were used as currency. It’s rare to find one intact.
